Uncharted rumors on PS4 rectified as Naughty Dog receives dev kits

16 September 2013

Christophe Balestra, co-president at Naughty Dog, teased that his team at Naughty Dog has received a shipment of PlayStation 4 dev kits.

Along with his post, Balestra included a picture of the shipment, which includes 120 PS4 development kits. Assumably, Naughty Dog has now jumped into the next generation of home consoles, but what the talented team plans to do with it is still unknown. An early sign that have begun springing up is the rumored existence of another Uncharted title, which surfaced in a pre-order posting on the German Gamestop website; though this is not confirmation of any kind, the pre-order was simply labeled "Uncharted" with a placeholder PS4 cover art.

This is the first sign of things to come from the team that has created memorable titles like Uncharted and The Last of Us, and the already-bright future of the PS4 is looking even better with a AAA development team like Naughty Dog joining the fray. How does the idea of another Uncharted making its way to Sony's next-gen console sound? Our very own Lee Millington gives his insight on a new Uncharted title. Agree or disagree, the developer listing for the PS4 keeps looking better and better.
