The PlayStation 4 Killzone: Shadow Fall bundle previously leaked on Amazon is officially in the pipeline, Sony has revealed.
Speaking to Eurogamer today, Sony Computer Entertainment U.K. chief Fergal Gara said, “I can officially confirm that the answer is yes [Sony will bring the bundle to the U.K.].”
Known as the ‘mega bundle’ at Sony HQ, the pack features a PS4 console, a copy of Guerrilla Games’ sci-fi FPS, two DualShock 4 controllers and a PlayStation Camera.
Originally spotted alongside a smaller deal on Amazon France, the bundle will set you back €499 -- the same price as Xbox One in Europe. Furthermore, Gara said that more PS4 bundles would be announced this week, and that consumers who have already pre-ordered the console will be given the option of upgrading to one of these deals.
"It [the mega bundle] is in limited volume, and therefore it is probably going to go mainly to current pre-order customers, then follow-up volume may well be post-Christmas," the executive added.
"But there are other bundles that also represent incredibly good value. It's not just about having a good base price. We want to offer value in every way we can.
"Starting yesterday, our retail partners are contacting their pre-order customers in order, so starting with the first, working up to when they run out of that special bundle, saying, we now have clarity on exactly what PlayStation 4 bundles we have to offer for day one. Would you like option A, B, C or D?”
PS4 is due out in the U.K. and Europe on November 29, with a U.S. launch scheduled for November 15.
