Telltale Games has revealed The Walking Dead: Season Two, an episodic series that will continue the story of Lee and Clementine as established in its original, critically acclaimed The Walking Dead series.
This time around, Clementine will be the main, playable protagonist. According to the PlayStation Blog post where Telltale's community lead, Laura Perusco, announced the new season, you will play as Clem while "struggling to outwit both the dead and the living in situations that will test your morals and shape the flow of the story through your decisions and actions."
The five-episode season (a Telltale Games staple) will begin this year and conclude in 2014. Right now, PS3 and PS Vita versions are confirmed, with no word of a PS4 offering. We also don't know if the PS3 and PS Vita version will support Cross-Buy; given lack of Cross-Buy for The Walking Dead: Season One (a game series we loved) and The Wolf Among Us (which we also loved), I'm not holding my breath.
The teaser trailer below establishes the atmosphere of Season Two quite nicely--things are grim, but there's an optimistic note throughout. Are you excited to play as Clementine in Season Two? What did you think of Season One's DLC episode, 400 Days? Let us know in the comments below.
