For those in North and South America hoping to try their luck at the Dark Souls II Network Test, this past weekend was pretty disappointing. With only four hours before the beta was scheduled to begin, Namco Bandai cancelled the test. With a statement on the Dark Souls Facebook page, the publisher declared the test was being delayed indefinitely due to unforeseen circumstances.
Now, Namco Bandai has officially announced, through the same Facebook page, that the delayed network test will take place in November. Specifically, it will run during the following times:
11:00 PM PST, November 9 through 2:00 AM PST, November 10
2:00 AM EST, November 10 - 5:00 AM EST, November 10
Everyone who has already participated in previous betas will be allowed into the Network Test alongside newcomers. For those wishing to join the Network Test, the client can be downloaded through the PlayStation Network using this code:
Dark Souls II is scheduled to release on March 11, 2014 on PS3 and Xbox 360, with a PC release following after. For more news on Dark Souls II, stay tuned to PSU.
