PS4 console and Killzone: Shadow Fall offered with new O2 phone contracts

Phone network giant O2 is offering punters the chance to snap up a PlayStation 4 console by forking out for a new £52-per-month contract this Friday.

Sony’s next-generation console goes on sale in the U.K. and Europe this Friday, though short of pre-ordering the machine, your chances of picking one up for launch are pretty slim.

However, providing you plonk down £89.99 as an up-front cost with O2, you can receive a PS4, a copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall and a year’s subscription to Sony’s premium online service, PlayStation Plus.

As for the phone contract itself, O2 is offering a Sony Xperia Z1 phone, unlimited minutes and text, and 1GB of data per month. See here for a list of O2 stores participating in the deal.

If that doesn’t tickle your fancy however, you can instead mosey on down to Sony’s PS4 launch event this Thursday at London’s Covent Gardens at the PS4 Lounge, or take a trip to one of 155 Asda stores stocking the console for launch.
