Original: On November 22, Sony filed a trademark for its classic JRPG series Arc the Lad.

This could be a ray of hope for classic JRPG enthusiasts longing for revival. The last game in the series was Arc the Lad: End of Darkness, which released in North America in 2005 for the PlayStation 2. While this doesn’t confirm that Sony is restoring the property in the form of a new game, it’ll certainly spark the interests of avid followers.
Could this be the start of a new entry in the series for the PS4 or Vita, or is Sony simply trying to protect its property?
