Ubisoft today revealed that Rayman Legends will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 28, 2014.
Rayman will be an improved experience over the PlayStation 3 release. There will be upgraded graphics, quicker loading times, and use of the PS4's unique features. This includes touchpad integration, the extent of which doesn't seem to have been fully divulged beyond scratching Lucky Tickets, and of course the ability to use the console's sharing functions and Remote Play with the Vita.
There will also be extra content in the form of two new costumes: Assassin Ray, presumably a tie-in with Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series, and Funky Ray, which can be bought with Uplay points. However, the Xbox One version of the game will have some exclusive costumes and 10 exclusive challenges. It is unclear whether the exclusives are timed or permanent.
In November, it was confirmed that a Rayman title would be coming to PS4 and Xbox One. It was thought that it would be a port of Rayman Legends. The game was originally released earlier this year, and is currently available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U and XBOX 360.
