Guerrilla Games has confirmed that Killzone: Shadow Fall's patch 1.09 will introduce a new clan system into the mix.
Due out in February, the update will allow gamers to display clan tags and player names within the sci-fi shooter’s multiplayer matches, as well as manage clans on the Killzone official website. Here, you can add/remove members or promote them to ‘clan officers.’
Guerrilla said that while the system will start out pretty rudimentary, it plans on expanding the feature via new updates later down the line. More free maps and premium expansion packs are also in the pipeline.
"We truly appreciate the passion you've demonstrated in helping Killzone Shadow Fall become the best it can be, and we apologize for the time it's taking to implement our full vision for the clan system," said the firm.
"We hope you'll continue to enjoy Killzone Shadow Fall and be forthcoming with your ideas and feedback."
