Kaz Hirai loves playing DriveClub, Gran Turismo in his spare time

on 26 February 2014

Speaking during an interview with Variety (via DualShockers), President and CEO of Sony Corporation Kazuo Hirai revealed that he likes to indulge in a spot of DriveClub and Gran Turismo during his spare time -- that is, when he’s not driving around in his flashy sports car.

It’s interesting to note, particularly as DriveClub, the PlayStation 4-exclusive racer from Evolution Studios, isn’t even out yet.

“To clear his mind, Hirai likes driving his sports car with the top down. When he’s not on the road, he still prefers the driver’s seat, playing videogames like “Driveclub” and “Grand Turismo” on Sony’s PlayStation. ‘As you can tell,’ he says, ‘I love cars,’ the article reads.

DriveClub was originally due to ship alongside the PS4 at launch last November, but was delayed into 2014. Sony has yet to confirm when it will finally show up, though we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Previous rumors suggested a February release (which obviously hasn't happened), and a summer launch.
