The Tokyo Game Show 2014 will run through September 18 - 21, the Japanese Computer Entertainment Supplies Association has confirmed.
Japan’s most prolific games event will be held at the same venue as last year, namely Chiba’s Makuhari Messe. The first two days will be business only, while the final 48 hours will see the event open to the public.
TGS 2014 is expected to play host to 1600 booths and 222,000 visitors, and aside from the latest console titles will also dedicate areas to indie titles, PC software, smartphones, merchandise and more.
Last year’s event played host to a Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes demo courtesy of creator Hideo Kojima, among other highlights.
