Fez, the brainchild of Polytron Corporation’s ex-head honcho Phil Fish and one of the headliners for the film, ‘Indie Game: The Movie’, has today received a concrete release date ahead of its launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
Speaking on the North American PlayStation Blog, Polytron Producer Marie-Christine Bourdua confirmed that the much-acclaimed videogame, which has already seen a release on numerous machines, will be available on all Sony systems from March 25 onwards.
The PlayStation 4 version is naturally touted as the optimum choice for the game, running at gorgeous 1080p and 60 frames per second, whilst the PS3 edition runs at 720p and the PS Vita at its native resolution. Fez will support a cross-save mechanism across all three platforms, as well as championing cross-buy, whereby if you buy a copy of Fez on one particular system, you’ll be able to play it on the others.
