PlayStation 4 has sold over six million units globally following its launch last November, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has announced.
The figure includes 370,000 units moved in Japan following its launch there on February 22.
Software sales for Sony’s next-generation system have reached 13.7 million units across retail stores and digital download via the PlayStation Store.
Furthermore, PS4’s Share function has been used more than 100 million times, and 3.6 million gameplay broadcasts have been streamed via Twitch and Ustream.
