Watch Dogs will feature the option of free roaming for up to eight players, publisher Ubisoft has announced.
Jonathan Morin, Ubisoft’s Creative Director, dropped the news on Twitter (via MP1st) during a conversation with fans following confirmation of the game’s release date.

Watch Dogs was originally scheduled to ship in November for current and next-generation systems. However, the title was pushed back to afford additional development time, and will now arrive in stores in May.
Set in an open world Chicago, Watch Dog casts gamers as Aiden Pearce, a highly-talented hacker who has the ability to manipulate everything from traffic lights to personal bank accounts to his advantage. The game combines third-person shooting, driving and parkour-based navigation
