The PlayStation 4 has received a price increase in Canadian territories, Sony Computer Entertainment has announced.
Sony’s next-generation home console previously sold for $399.99 in Canada, but as of March 15, now costs $449.99.
In addition, the price of the DualShock 4 has also been bumped up $5 to $64.99, while titles such as inFAMOUS: Second Son and MLB 14: The Show will now cost $69.99.
Sony issued a statement on the matter, stating the move was a result of “changes in the market environment.”
PS4 has been a steady seller in Canada, with stock regularly depleted despite Sony doing its best to replenish inventory where possible.
