Details on the final open beta phase for the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn have been confirmed today by Square Enix.
The action kicks off on April 4 at 1.00 a.m. PDT and concludes at the same time on April 7. PS4 owners will require system software update v1.62 to take part in the open beta.
Square also revealed that any progress players make during the beta phase will be saved and transfer over to the full game. In addition, the Japanese publisher is opening three new servers: Mana (Japan), Jenova (North America/Europe) and Zodiark (North America/Europe).
Players who were involved with the first beta phase will be required to uninstall their current client and download the new one via PlayStation Network, available from April 4.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is due to launch on April 14 for PS4.
