Watch Dogs dev hopes to eliminate loading screens, PS4 footage coming at PAX East

on 4 April 2014

Watch Dogs’ animation director has indicated that the hotly-anticipated open world action-adventure title won’t feature much (if any) loading screens.

Speaking on Twitter, Colin Graham made it abundantly clear that Ubisoft is aiming for a seamless open-world experience with Watch Dogs.

“WD [is] an open world architecture, and we have good mission streaming. We don’t like loading screens,” he said.

In addition, Graham confirmed that the company will showcase fresh footage of Watch Dogs at PAX East next week, most likely from the PS4 version.

Watch Dogs is scheduled to ship for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on May 27.
