Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V will be released for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One in June 2014, according to a German retail boss (via BehindGames).
A translation of a Tweet by TECH-NICK, manager of Saturn.de, reads:
“Since I asked what degree: The release of GTAV for PC, XBOX One and PS4 is expected in June.”
Yes, it’s a bit of a dodgy translation and not exactly a reliable source, but then again, we’ve heard multiple rumblings of a next-generation version of the critically-acclaimed crime romp -- something is obviously in the pipeline.
GTA V was released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September last year, and went on to ship a staggering 32.5 million units worldwide.
The game is also complemented by Grand Theft Auto Online, and is set to receive extensive downloadable content, details of which have yet to be revealed.
