Rocksteady Studio’s newest Caped Crusader outing is still a couple of months from its blockbuster release so it’s just as well that the developer’s served up another onslaught of tasty new screenshots for gamers to feast their eager eyes on.
The screens, seen below, go a way to showing the detail afforded to some of the character models, namely the Dark Knight himself and the ever-fiendish Harley Quinn. As well as teasing a variety of locales and the green-glowing tint of the unnerving and playable Batmobile.
Batman: Arkham Knight revolves around Scarecrow’s anticipated return to Gotham City. In a bid to overthrow the Caped Crusader the menacing super villain summons the help of past enemies to unite under one cause – to rid the city of Batman once and for all.
Early last month a report surfaced which seemed to suggest that the game would miss its initial launch in October, instead releasing sometime in 2015. The report came following a trailer reveal at the Wondercon Expo. Both developer and publisher are still yet to confirmed or deny the reports, but as ever we’ll be in the frontline to deliver any developments when they hit.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the third entry in Rocksteady-developed series, and looking to be the most explosive and expansive yet. Are you looking forward to returning to Gotham City? Give us your thoughts in the comments section below.
