Ubisoft has posted a few scant details on Far Cry 4’s storyline by mistake on its official store (via OnlySP).
Some of the info we already know from the game’s announcement last week, though there’s still a couple of tidbits worth reading. Check it out below, or view the cached version here.
“Hidden in the majestic Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min.
Explore and navigate this vast open world, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner. Here, every decision counts, and every second is a story. Welcome to Kyrat.”
Far Cry 4 is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on November 18 in North America and November 20 in the U.K. and Europe.
The game arrives on the heels of the critically acclaimed Far Cry 3, which was released in 2012 and went on to sell six million copies worldwide. This itself was followed by the expansion pack, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, an 80s-inspired action title starring Michael Beihn.
