Watch Dogs review round-up: hack 'em to pieces

Today marks the long-awaited launch of Ubisoft’s ambitious open world hack-’em-up Watch Dogs, which arrives on shelves following a lengthy delay. Originally planned for release alongside PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last November, this new action-adventure IP has carried some hefty expectations from gamers on its shoulders, and no doubt one question everyone will be asking is, ‘has it been worth the wait?’.

Well, the verdict’s in, at least as far as the Internet goes, with Watch Dogs reviews pouring in all over the shop. PSU is actually giving our review a few more days in the oven, so editor Kyle Prahl can scrutinize it in as much detail as possible. However, to tide you over, he’s cobbled together a comprehensive impressions piece that should give you an idea of how it’s shaping up.

So, does Aiden Pearce’s Chicago-based romp deliver the goods after all this time? Check out our review round-up to find out.
