Activision confirms E3 2014 line-up of games, includes CoD and Destiny

9 June 2014

Ahead of E3 2014 officially opening its doors at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 10, Activision has revealed its official line-up of games.

Via a press release, Activision reveals that it will be showcasing three major games at E3 2014: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny, and Skylanders Trap Team, with the latter pair available to play at its booth in the South Hall (booth #1647).

The next chapter in the multi-million pound selling Call of Duty franchise was revealed via a trailer that confirmed a futuristic setting. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

Destiny, the latest shooter from Halo creator Bungie, has been making waves since it was first announced. The latest trailer tells you everything you need to know ahead of its September 9 release date on current and last-gen consoles.

Finally, Skylanders Trap Team is a continuation of Activision’s successful attempt at bringing toys-to-life and takes place after the events of Skylanders Swap Force. It’s currently pencilled in for an early October release on multiple platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, Wii U and Nintendo DS.

So, it looks like there’s no real surprised from Activision this year, but expect a heavy-focus on Destiny which looks likely to be one of 2014’s best shooters.
