Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has sued video game developer Rockstar Games, alleging the company utilized her image for the Grand Theft Auto V character Lacey Jonas without her permission.
Lohan had previously threatened legal action against the industry giant in December 2013, though Forbes reports that it has taken until July 2 for the lawsuit to be filed in New York City.
"The portraits of the Plaintiff (Lohan) incorporated her image, likeness, clothing, outfits, Plaintiff's clothing line products, ensemble in the form of hats, hair style, sunglasses, jean shorts worn by the Plaintiff that were for sale to the public at least two years," it says.
A response to Lohan’s suit has yet to be issued by Rockstar Games or parent company Take-Two.
GTA V was released last September and will make its way to PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One this fall.
