Dragon Age: Inquisition gets 16-minutes of gameplay footage

on 10 July 2014

BioWare has released a sixteen-minute commentary gameplay walkthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition. The video comes from the E3 demo that was previewed in chunks at Electronic Arts and Microsoft's press conferences.

Throughout the video we witness the game's incredible visuals, horse mount riding, and combat, the latter of which seems to combine the strategic combat of Dragon Age: Origins, and the more action-oriented battles of Dragon Age II.

Players are introduced to some of the characters and gameplay mechanics such as being able to control different party members, capturing strongholds, and slaying giant dragons by selecting different body parts to attack. Though no character customization was shown off, Inquisition's inventory system highlighted how player's armor will change as they equip different gear.

Check out the video below.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is set for release on October 7 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. For more on Dragon Age: Inquisition check out our E3 impressions of the title
