In a double whammy of hefty proportions Electronic Arts has also announced that another one of its heavy hitters, Dragon Age: Inquisition, has been delayed for a month, instead releasing on November 18.
The news came as part of the publisher’s first-quarter fiscal earnings report and joins the likes of Battlefield: Hardline, which has also fell foul of a delay, albeit a much longer one.
Originally set for an October 7 release, the BioWare-developed role-playing title will now launch a month later, hopefully in a more polished state. That said the game is already looking pretty spiffy if a recent developer walkthrough is anything to go by.
‘’I’m writing to let you know that Dragon Age: Inquisition has a new release date of November 18, 2014 in North America (November 21st in EU). We appreciate the enormous support we’ve received from all of you to get to this point, and while this extra few weeks may not seem like a lot, I know the game you’ll play will be all the better for it,’’ said Executive Producer Mark Darrah on the game’s official website.
