Konami has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 will be flexing their Fox Engine-powered muscles at GamesCom next month.
The publisher confirmed that gamers will be able to see how both titles have advanced in recent months, and will be on show at Konami’s stand in 'different forms.'
Martin Schneider, Konami Digital Entertainment’s General Manager, commented: “With METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN and PES 2015 we will be proudly presenting two of our strongest brands at Europe´s biggest games show, to a huge audience keen for new details.
“Both games show the commitment and energy KONAMI is bringing to the new formats. We look forward to sharing such important releases with the huge audience at the most vital European event in the gaming calendar.”
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The game takes place some nine years after the events of Ground Zeroes, as protagonist Big Boss embarks on a revenge-driven mission into Afghanistan.
Pro Evo 2015 meanwhile hits PS4 and Xbox One this fall, and introduces a number of improvements to the long-running footie franchise.
