More delays for PSN, trailers abound

7 June 2007

Those eagerly awaiting the downloadable MotorStorm and Resistance: Fall of Man content will have to wait a little bit longer.

MotorStorm's 1.2 update will hit on June 11th (with a separate Time Attack mode on the 14th). Resistance's global server update and map pack were also delayed. Alyssa Casella from SCEA said: "During the final testing of the global server for Resistance: Fall of Man a few last minute issues have come up. We are working to resolve the issues as quickly as we can, but unfortunately, can not resolve them prior to our announced launch date of June 7th for the map pack and content update. The delay will not be long, and we'll have a firm date to share with you shortly."

Instead of these game updates, trailers are abound today for the PS Store's June 7th update. Those wishing to view the Heavenly Sword trailer on their snazzy HDTV are in luck, as the incredible Gamers Day trailer will be available. Other trailers include Stranglehold showcasing its impressive environment damage; and yet another MLB '07 video purporting the online features of the baseball title.

Other non-game related trailers include Micheal Bay's upcoming big screen adaption of Transformers; and a trailer for Bruce Springsteen's latest live concert on Blu-ray.

We'll let you know when the Resistance content will become available, as well as future PSN updates.
