Mass Effect dev working on two new IPs, no Dragon Age in 2015

The chief financial officer for Electronic Arts has revealed that Mass Effect creator BioWare is chiselling away on two as-yet unannounced new IPs.

Speaking at the 2015 Technology, Internet & Media conference, Blake Jorgensen also confirmed that there will be no new Dragon Age titles in 2015, although this is hardly a surprise given that Inquisition only hit stores in fall last year.

He added that its developer, BioWare, is excited about the future of the fantasy RPG series following Inquisition’s success.

The news comes after BioWare confirmed cancellation of its PC title, Shadow Realms.

BioWare is currently working on the next chapter in the Mass Effect franchise, which is supposedly due for release in 2016 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
