Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) boss Jim Ryan has admitted that the release of DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition is still up in the air.

Speaking during an interview with Metro, Ryan said the PlayStation 4-exclusive racer’s free teaser is still being looked into.

That’s being looked into,” he commented. Pushed for a more definitive answer on the game's release, he added, “I can’t say anything at this stage.”

"We have two roles to play, right?. We are a publisher of content in our own right and we are the platform holder who overlays a level of what is called format QA. Obviously the lessons that we learnt in the context of Driveclub were many and painful, and will be applied internally in the context of every first party title that we publish going forward."

DriveClub was released in October, though the PS Plus Edition failed to materialize as planned. Sony has continually said it’s working on getting this version released, though right now, it’s not looking too promising.
