Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has announced plans to shutter its PlayStation Mobile service.
Launched in 2012, PS Mobile supported Android and PlayStation Vita platforms providing a variety of indie-based titles, though the service has long since been under utilized.
Starting July 15, 2015, the PS Mobile store will close its doors, though gamers can still re-download software until September 10. You’ll need to authenticate your compatible system to grab them (Settings---PSN---System Activation---PlayStation Mobile---Activate).
However, once that date passes, you will no longer be able to access PS Mobile content on any devices that have not been authenticated.
