The release date for Dead Island 2 has been pushed back to fall 2015, according to the latest online reports.
The zombie-themed action title was announced at E3 2014 and pencilled in for a spring 2015 release. However, we’re now at April, and Deep Silver has still yet to confirm a solid release date for the title.
VideoGamer understands that he title has been pushed back as far as fall 2015, while EuroGamer Czech Tweeted that Dead Island 2 has indeed been postponed, and will now launch in a September window.
Dead Island 2 is scheduled to ship on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Deep Silver previously confirmed that the game will receive a PS4 timed-exclusive beta. Read our hands-on preview here.
