The director on Kingdom Hearts 3 has confirmed that development on the hotly anticipated Disney-RPG is 'going smoothly.'

Speaking with Famitsu magazine, Tetsyua Nomura also said that the company will make some sort of announcement on the PS4 and Xbox One sequel fairly soon. E3's only two months away, so it wouldn't be out of the question to hear more about the game then.
Interestingly, Nomura-san revealed that Kingdom Hearts is coming to smartphones, although it remains unknown if this is a companion app for Kingdom Hearts 3 or a new title.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was unveiled at Sony's E3 2013 press conference, though a firm release date has yet to be announced. So far, it's been confirmed that the game will contain a healthy mix of new and old characters, with rumors also pointing to some form of online component.
