Guerrilla Games' new PlayStation 4 title will be released in 2016, according to well-known industry insider and NeoGAF resident, 'Shinobi602.'
According to the tipster, the Killzone developer has been prototyping the mystery title as recently as early 2015. As such, a release this year looks unlikely.
“To update on that a little further, it’s almost assuredly a 2016 title at this point. From what I hear, some things were still being prototyped as recently as the beginning of this year," said the insider.
Elsewhere, Shinobi also touched on Sony Bend's upcoming survival horror title, which he claims will be something a little different to Resident Evil and The Evil Within.
"I wouldn’t say to think of it as The Evil Within’ish or RE’ish “survival horror” however.” he said. In fact, it seems the game may have more in common with a certain Naughty Dog title. “As far as I’m aware, more…TLOU’ish.”
Obviously this information has not been confirmed by an official source, although Shinobi602 has had a great track record, so fingers crossed he's on the money with this latest scoop.
