Capcom has rolled out details on the upcoming beta for the PlayStation 4 version of Street Fighter V.

Kicking off early morning U.K. time on July 24, the beta will run for approximately five days and is a PS4-exclusive. Players will initially be able to select from four characters, Ryu, Chun Li, Nash and M. Bison, with Cammy and Birdie joining the line-up a few days later.

The beta will feature online versus only, so there's no local option to get into a punch-up with your buddies. The reason for this, Capcom says, is because the beta is largely down to testing the brawler's online functionality.

Stages included in the beta are Bustling Side Street (China), Terminal Station (London) and the Forgotten Waterfall (New Zealand).

Interested? Then sign-up on the official Street Fighter website, and if you're lucky, you'll receive an email complete with instructions on how to enter. European entries close on July 15.

Street Fighter V is due out on PS4 and PC in spring 2016. Capcom expects the game to sell around two million copies worldwide, and has stressed that you'll only ever need the one disc to access all post-launch DLC.
