Sony has let slip what we can expect to see from system update 3.00 for PlayStation 4, which is known by the codename Kenshin.

Those of you who have signed up to the beta will be available to download the update today, although it is expected to roll out for everyone else soon enough.
As for the update itself, Firmware 3.00 looks set to introduce some significant changes, as detailed below. Give it a look.
-An increase in online storage capacity for PS Plus subscribers, from 1GB to 10GB
-YouTube Live functionality, allowing you to stream your gameplay to YouTube
-An ‘Events’ hub, which tracks upcoming events in the games you’re playing, such as double XP weekends
-‘Communities’, which allow you to connect with like-minded gamers online
-The ability to share videos to Twitter
-An option to send friends requests to watch them play
No word yet on how much the update will weigh in, although expect more details to be made available shortly. Stay tuned to PSU for more info as we get it.
