Sony has taken to the PlayStation Blog to confirm details on how to watch the format holder's press conference at Paris Games Week on October 27. The inaugural press event will kick off from 4.45 pm GMT, and Sony is promising some exciting new game announcements along with fresh details on existing titles, so be sure to tune in equipped with all the following info to catch things as they happen.

So, where can you watch it? Well, the PlayStation Blog will host its own dedicated stream of the event, which can be located here. Alternatively, you can check out the presser on Twitch or via the PS4's Events application. European fans will be pleased to know the event will be translated into French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese live from the event. If that isn't enough, Sony will be providing live images on Instagram and Twitter, so be sure to follow those accounts via the links provided.

So, what can we expect from Paris Games Week? Unsurprisingly, Sony's keeping mum on any finer details, but we can hopefully expect something from Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and the new Ratchet & Clank title. Perhaps we're being too optimistic, but we're hoping we may hear something on Gran Turismo 7 at the event, or maybe Horizon: Zero Dawn. Shenmue III may also show up, as Ys Net has promised an update on the action-RPG sequel will be issued next week.

PS4 and Xbox One both launched in November 2013, although to date Sony's machine has comfortably outsold its leading rival, with over 25 million consoles shipped worldwide to date. Microsoft has not yet divulged an exact sales figure for its flagship home console. In addition to posting strong sales worldwide, PS4 is also tracking faster than the multi-million selling PS2 in the U.K., where it is reported to have outsold Xbox One on a monthly basis since the beginning of 2015.

PS4 launched in Japan in February 2014, and has since gone on to sell over one million units in its home territorySony recently announced a price cut for the U.S., reducing the cost of the system by $50. Earlier this week, the format holder also confirmed a price cut for the European market.
