PS4 1TB Mega Pack features 5 of the best games money can buy

Check out the latest 1TB PS4 bundle, including 5 titles that offer a brilliant introduction to the world of Sony's latest home console.

on 18 November 2015

GameStop has outed a rather tasty 1TB PlayStation 4 'Mega Pack' featuring five of the hottest games available for Sony's current-generation console.

According to a listing on the retailer's official website, the bundle will retail for £289.97, and is scheduled for release on November 30. In addition to featuring a 1TB PS4, the pack includes a copy of The Last of Us Remastered, God of War 3 Remastered, and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (this includes three games, technically bringing the total number of titles in the bundle to five). You can pre-order the bundle from GameStop now, though it isn't available anywhere else.

Just so you know how much cash you are saving with the three extra games, the standalone 1TB PS4 usually retails for around £329, while the 500GB model comes in at £299.99. In other words, that's one hell of a brilliant saving, and we don't expect the bundle to be around for long with people wanting to snap up a great bargain in time for Christmas. Indeed, there has possibly never been a better time to jump on board the PS4 bandwagon; just make sure you get our orders in before the inevitable holiday rush.

PS4 has just passed its two-year anniversary in North America, where it launched alongside titles such as Killzone Shadow Fall, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Knack. The system almost immediately gained a steady lead over its leading competitor, the Xbox One, something which it has been able to sustain ever since, going on to sell-in nearly 30 million units worldwide. In fact, PS4's lead over Microsoft's console is so great that the Xbox One format holder has even admitted it may not be able to catch up to Sony's machine going forward

Just recently, Electronic Arts praised the power of both machines, stating that developers are only just starting to harness the power of the PS4 and Xbox One. Whether or not Sony's current-generation console can outperform the PS2 remains to be seen, although in the U.K. at least, the PS4 is already tracking faster than Sony's best-selling video games console. Sony recently cut the price of the PS4 in the U.S. and U.K. ahead of the competitive holiday season, although this wasn't enough to secure a victory in North America against the might of Halo 5: Guardians last month.

When did you get your PS4, and with what games? Do you think this Mega Pack offers a good introduction to Sony's console? Let us know in the comments section below.
