Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization gameplay videos show combat actions & giant boss battle

Dengeki Online released two new gameplay videos for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, the fourth game based on the hit light novel series and anime adaptation.

One video shows off the various combat actions of playable word-wielding protagonist Kirito and the standout highlight is the previously mentioned ability to jump. There is no auto-attack in Hollow Realization and the combat so far is looking to be the best in the series.

The other video features a battle against a giant boss in the game and showcases the Skill Allied system, where you and your three party members can do large amounts of damage if pulled off successfully.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is in-development for the PlayStation 4 and Vita and will release sometime this year in the West. The action RPG is a sequel to last year’s SAO: Lost Song and returns to the world of Aincrad from the first story arc. Check out more details and an interview with the developers here.
