New Hitman trailer prepares you for the PS4 beta

Grab your silenced pistol and strap on your best suit and tie, as IO Interactive has just rolled out the official launch trailer for this week’s Hitman beta.

The beta hits PlayStation 4 at the end of the week on February 12, and follows on PC next week. The playable teaser gives gamers access to the first missions of the game, and takes place in an ICA facility. Check out the trailer below.

Hitman is scheduled for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 11. Those of you who purchase the game on Sony’s console will gain access to exclusive content, including the Sarajevo Six’ missions. The game will receive new content on a monthly basis, with two different versions of the title available to purchase: the Intro Pack and full release.

Agent 47’s latest stealth-based adventure will function similarly to that of Hitman: Blood Money, in the sense that it will offer gamers a small sandbox environment to explore during each mission. Each stage is complemented by around 300 NPCs, with locations said to be six-seven times larger than those found in Hitman: Absolution.

Hitman takes some features from Absolution however, including the Instinct mode, which has been simplified for this latest game. The checkpoint system has been removed though, with players now able to save their progress at any point they wish.
