The latest batch of free PlayStation Plus games will be made available today as part of Sony’s weekly PlayStation Store update, and for those who were busy caught up in all the festive fun last week, we’ve got the lowdown in case you missed it.
PlayStation Plus free games - what’s new for January 2017
Kicking off this month’s PS Plus free games is PlayStation 4’s Day of the Tentacle Remastered, which is also Cross-Buy compatible with PlayStation Vita. This will be joined by survival romp This War of Mine: The Little Ones, also for PS4.
Swindle and Titan Souls are also up for grabs, with the former available for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, and the latter hitting PS4 and PS Vita. Finally, PS3 owners can pick up Blazerush for free, while PS Vita users can claim Azkend 2 as their monthly freebie.
All of the above games will be made available today as part of the PS Store update, although times will vary depending on your region.
Okay, so our predictions fell pretty flat, but we still think that at some point Sony will introduce PlayStation VR games into its free PS Plus lineup to mix things up, possibly at the expense of a dedicated PS3 title.
Be sure to catch up on December 2016’s PlayStation Plus games lineup if you haven’t already done so.
