Sony has announced that PlayStation Network will be going dark for scheduled maintenance early next week, with PSN offline briefly for one hour on Tuesday, April 25.
The PSN downtime will kick off at 7.00am your local time and will pertain to all major regions. As expected, you won’t be able to access a number of features during this time, such as the PlayStation Store, account management, and PlayStation Video. However, it’s worth noting that Sony had not said that you won’t be able to game online during this time.
Sony bringing PSN down isn’t exactly a surprise these days, as the format holder is typically known for conducting maintenance on its flagship online service on a semi-regular basis.
Stay tuned to PSU for more details regarding next week’s PSN offline period in case anything changes.
