Naughty Dog has rolled out a Uncharted 4 update 1.23, which offers a number of key fixes for the game’s multiplayer component.
Specifically, the new Uncharted 4 update tackles the game’s Ranked Season 5 event, which kicked off on April 3 and was supposed to reset players’ progress. However, the California-based studio quickly found that a bug prevented this from happening, and as such has now addressed the problem by offering gamers a clean slate.

"Any progress made in Ranked Season 5 will be reset, but don't worry--any Ranked rewards you earned along the way will be retained," said the developer on the official Uncharted website.
“As you advance through ranks in Season 6, you'll earn our new Ranked Sniper Masks like normal, but at the end of the season, you'll also receive each Ranked Season 5 Cowboy Hat corresponding to your final rank," Naughty Dog said. "Those that reach Gold III or higher will receive the Season 5 Ranked Cabbage Patch taunt AND the Season 6 Ranked Walk It taunt. Lastly, at the end of Ranked Season 6, players will be awarded additional Relics."
The new Uncharted 4 update also applies the following changes:
BALANCE AND FIXES
- Added death region to Village to prevent exploit
- Increase LP cost of Drake’s Aegis to 3 LP
Uncharted 4 was released exclusively for PS4 in May 2016, attracting overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and going out to sell over eight million copies worldwide. Just recently, the title scooped up the ‘Best Game’ award at the 2017 BAFTAs, adding to its already-impressive collection of accolades from the past few months.
The game will receive a standalone expansion in the shape of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in August 2017, which features Chloe Fraser and Nadine Ross teaming up to track down a mysterious Indian artifact known as the Tusk of Ganesh. The new content will reportedly last around 10 hours in length and features one of the largest environments seen in an Uncharted title to date.
