Electronic Arts has promised that the hotly anticipated Star Wars Battlefront 2 will boast around ‘three times as much content’ as its predecessor.
Speaking during the publishing behemoth’s latest financial call yesterday, EA CEO Andrew Wilson made it clear that developer DICE is attempting to up the ante for the sci-fi shooter, after 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront reboot missed the mark with many fans and critics alike.

“Star Wars Battlefront 2 will have more than three times the content of the previous game at launch, with a brand new story, a new single-player campaign, new modes, characters, vehicles and planets from all eras in the Star Wars universe, as well as a live service plan that will continue to add even more fun for the global community,” he said.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is due for release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One November 17, 2017. DICE had previously commented that it was aiming to fix many of the issues that players had with the original Battlefront, with the most obvious improvement being the addition of a dedicated campaign mode.
Naturally the game will still offer a robust multiplayer component, with EA confirming the sequel will offer dedicated servers for a silky-smooth online romp. Those you who want to splash out on the title might want to invest in the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition.
