For those curious, it’s been confirmed that Nadine Ross – one of the chief characters from last year’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End – will not be playable in the upcoming Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy characters: Chloe main focus
We already knew that Uncharted 2’s Chloe Frazer would be taking up the reins as the standalone expansion’s playable character but it’s now been revealed that she’ll be the sole playable character, because, according to developer Naughty Dog, the Santa Monica-based developer wanted to craft a story around Chloe, who we haven’t seen 2009’s Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
The star of the beginning portion of Sony’s press conference at this year’s E3, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy's story revolves around Chloe as she enlists mercenary Nadine Ross to help search for a treasure called ‘Tusk of Ganesh’ but of course, there’s malevolent forces doing the exact same thing.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a standalone story expansion to the aforementioned fourth entry in the ten-year-old series, featuring a fully fledged 8-or-so-hour campaign complete with Uncharted 4’s multiplayer component.
Retailing at $39.99, players who purchased the Uncharted 4 digital deluxe edition last year will receive it for free whilst those who pre-order the game will get a free digital copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy’s release date is set for August 22.
