Bungie has rolled out the first Destiny 2 weekly reset on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One formats, ushering in a fresh batch of content for Guardians to get stuck into.
Some of the highlights will be obvious to anyone who has been an active player of the original Destiny, such as the Nightfall, although there’s plenty more fresh content to soak up, such as Flashpoints.
Destiny 2 weekly reset - what’s new?
Destiny 2 Nightfall - The Inverted Spire
The Inverted Spire should be familiar to most players by now, having featured in the Destiny 2 beta this past summer. This time around, it comes equipped with modifiers Prism, Timewrap: Rings. The former rotates enemy shields in terms of elemental barriers, while the latter lets you boost the mission timer by completing various tasks.
Bungie has set a recommended Power Level of 240 to take part in the Nightfall Strike, and comes in three difficulty flavours: Speed of Dark, Unbroken, and the Floor is Lava.
- Speed of Dark: Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
- The Floor Is Lava: As a fireteam, do not get hit by Protheon’s fiery ground attack before defeating it.
Nessus is your destination for the Flashpoint. Here, you need to complete Public Events to get your hands on powerful items, and make sure you visit Cayde-6 to grab all five treasure maps. Flashpoint refresh every week and feature the Ace of Spades icon over the map pointing to the location of secret chests.
