Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris is bringing back a classic Destiny 1 feature

Bungie has confirmed that the Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris expansion will usher in a classic feature from the original game that has up until now been curiously absent — the Heroic Strike Playlist.

Speaking during a livestream regarding the upcoming DLC, the studio revealed that gamers will soon be able to tackle Heroic Strikes plucked from the regular Destiny 2 lineup and the Curse of Osiris expansion.

The feature will come with its own Milestone to complete and will give players the chance to earn Rare and Legendary gear rewards.

Guardians had better make sure they are at the required Power Level though, as you’ll need to be packing 270+ in order to participate in the Heroic Strike Playlist.

Right now it’s unknown if Bungie will be bringing back modifiers for the playlist. However, there’s a new Curse of Osiris stream taking place next week, so we hope to hear more on the subject then.

Curse of Osiris is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on December 5, 2017. The DLC will also be accompanied by a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X update for Destiny 2, as well as a change in schedule for the weekly reset.

Be sure to check out Xur’s location for this week.
