Killzone 2 gets February 6 release in Europe?

In a surprising move to say the least, the Official PlayStation business to business page has revealed that Killzone 2 will apparently be released in Europe on February 6.
Without an official statement coming out of the PlayStation camp, it's hard to tell if this date is 100% accurate or simply a misprint. Hopefully for our European readers, this turns out to be the real deal.
As many of you are aware, Guerilla Games and Sony revealed earlier this month on G4TV that Killzone 2 would release in North America on February 27. While no European date was given at the time, Sony revealed shortly afterwards that they would be aiming to have the game out in PAL regions in a “similar timeframe.”
We're trying to get into contact with Sony right now, so if they can provide confirmation on this date, we'll be sure to let you know. Stay tuned.

It would be nice if we got it first, seeing as it's developed in Europe and all that...
But the Christmas issue of OPM gives the release date as 26 Feb 09 (page 15 if you have it, at the end of the article about the E3 2005 trailer), stating that they'll be reviewing it in issue 28, available 20 January.

february 27 for na. woudnt surprise me that much if europe got it first. it is a scee company. although 3 weeks seems a bit much.

I'm in the US, but if true GOOD for you guys in EU; I know it's usually the other way around so hopefully this kind of makes up for it :)

seems that amazon in england has the release date of the 26th so it ties in with OPM - still would love three weeks in advance. perhaps the three weeks are a little band-aid on the cut for all us europeans having to wait longer for other games???

If this is true then Finally a game that Europe gets FIRST! and not one which america gets first by laods. America will have to be patient this time like the rest of us have for everything else. Take that america.

If it's true then congrats Europeans. As much as I want this game, I'd imagine that you'd like a game first at least every once in awhile.

I'm an American gamer. If I can't get Killzone on February 6th, I'm glad Europe does. It's about time you guys got something first.

Wow, I was hoping that EU would get a break and not be dead last when it comes to game releases. I find it pretty messed up considering that the UK (EU) is a strong supporter of Playstation.
