Square Enix "can't say anything about" The Last Remnant for PS3

During this week's Games Development Convention in San Francisco, Wired asked Square Enix's Hiroshi Takai if the PS3 version of Last Remnant was still in development, but he didn't seem to want to say much about it.
"Well, as for the PS3 version, I can't say anything about that." stated Takai.
The PC version of Last Remnant came out last week, with an Xbox 360 version released months before. Square Enix originally announced the game as a multi-platform release, although no PlayStation 3 version has been confirmed.
Could the PS3 version of The Last Remnant be in trouble? Hopefully we'll have something confirmed soon.

Remember back when 'Squaresoft' used to be the mark of quality gaming?
/sigh
Still, I'd hate to discount them too quickly. They still have plenty of stuff to show us at TGS this year. As much as I hate to admit this, I almost would rather them leave this game on the 360 and get more PS3 coders on Vs 13 and FFXIII to get it right. It's not like we don't know what the PS3 can and can't do anymore.. Let dead dogs lie and make way for the future.

I'll admit I'll buy FFXIII and vXIII just because i'm a fan, but other than that I'll give the middle finger to SE. I'm anticipating WKC much more than anything else (besides FF) SE has to offer.

this company made some of the dumbest decision this gen. when it come to consoles. we this title what they did withm'soft they did what was best for them. but Star Ocean they must had been smoking crack why in the world would you take a long running franchise off one platform and started on a new one even if it is a prequel or sequel. microsc0m must have paid them a half a billion dollars for there three games so far we know they go as high as 50 million for download able content .

I've had my fix of FF games, I have really never cared for their other games so it doesn't matter. They put so much effort into the FF games but they don't put hardly any effort into their other games. SE = crap company. They use to be good at the time you really didn't have to put effort into video games. Once these nex-gen systems hit and developers had to start putting in hard working effort, SE turned to crap anyway.
SE "we are going multiplatform now" ok look at those 360 exclusives you put out. They lie and that wasn't the only lie they tried pulling over PS fans. There are many other RPG's hopefully to come out that may be better then FF. I have never considered Final Fantasy to be the best OMG RPG ever made. I have played better. If they don't want to come out with last remnant or whatever for PS3, then they shouldn't. They need to stop playing these childish games, nobody deserves this treatment, especially people that have been loyal to SE.

This game is alot of fun, and was the first of these next-gen jrpgs to bring back the good memories of the oldschool square enix stuff. If you haven't played it you should definately give it a shot. The sales haven't been off the charts, but it's definately better than White Knight Chronicles. Hopefully it comes to PS3 for those of you who don't own a 360/PC

Damn you Sqaure -Enix its really piss me off , People should never buy their games so they can learn to respect the Playstation owners . We bought their games since the PlayStation 1 and we PS owners gave them the green light after the succses of FFVII and after all these years you cant release one single game becuase of someone else stupid money ??
Thumbs down to you SE thumbs down ...

This company should now be called SquareSoft again.
It's like all they're going to do is keep releasing on the xbox360. Even though I own a 360, I want to see these jrpgs coming on the PS3. I pretty much bought my PS3 with the thought of a lot of RPG's coming in the future.
