Kingdom Hearts announcement coming next week

In response to a question from Famitsu Weekly, Tetsuya Nomura promised that "a special [Kingdom Hearts] announcement" will arrive next week. After discussing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the director added the following.
"Next week, we plan on making a special announcement regarding the Kingdom Hearts series - please look forward to it," stated Nomura.
We advise you not to get your hopes up -- it's always better to be surprised than disappointed, right? We'll be sure to follow up on this next week.

Hopefully its a new title. If so, most likely KH3, but like the article states, I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm hoping, no, BEGGING it'll be on the PS3. KH is my favorite series and if Square screws this up: >:(

Square have sold themselves to MS and have no soul.Annoucing this as a PS3 exclusive could be the first step to redemption but if its for the 360 again it will ruin forever SE reputation in Japan.

You just watch, KH3 will be announced as a 360 exlcusive LOL, just kidding. I wouldn't be surprised though. Probably just announcing it's in development, and most likely for both consoles.

I really hope this is PS3 related...I'm tired of all these potentially awesome announcements of games I'd be really interested in being for PSP or DS...Don't get me wrong, I love my PSP, but I mainly use it for portible internet, mp3 player, and transporting files...I just don't really want to sit in my room in front of a big screen tv and stare at my portable console playing a game.

Well considering Squeenix has been acting like they're in MS's back pocket I doubt this will be good news for PS owners. I hope the MS dollars make up for the sales they are losing (and no I won't be buying the next FF game....someone has to send a message and my wallet is the best way).

You know what... SE is just a sellout but hey who wouldnt accept tons of money? I'm pretty sure MS gives em enough money to make up for everything. SE aint the problem... it's MS. They have nothing to do in the gaming business. They are turning it into a retard business. Their console has no support for next gen content but they buy out compagnies like SE and deprive us from good games. Seriously, we would all have been WAY better without them. Heck I bought a PS3 because all rpgs were on PS2. But MS had to screw everything and steal our titles just for the sake of trying to sell more consoles. They messed the system up and reduced the number of games that would all have been released on PS3. Y not 360 instead of ps3? 360 fails at just runing a game... It overheats and dies. It doesnt have enough space on 1 dvd to fit any REAL next gen title. Overall 360 has so much less to offer... It can't be called the powerhouse of this gen. So PS3 should remain. Anyway I wish some internet crack steals all MS's money... then they would have nothing left to try and lure compagnies on their system failure.

PS3 exclusive!!! Considering both 1 & 2 were on PS2, only PS3 owners truly appreciated Kingdom Hearts enough to buy the black behemoth that's most likely to get the next main installment in the series . If you only bought a 360 or Wii, that's your sacrifice.

I have to agree Neo_Aeon666 MS has no business in the gaming industry. What they really want is to control the media hub of every living room in the world. They want to be your new monthly bill to pay. They really want to be a utility company like your cable or phone collecting a revenue stream from games. movies and TV shows. The problem with MS is they can never build anything right. They take the attitude of "well let's just release it now and we can patch it later". Unfortunately that attitude does not work when it comes to hardware. I am a 360 owner and so are most of my friends. All of our 360s have died....numerous times....I'm on my 6th and my warranty is now gone. I also heard they eliminated the red-ring problem in the newer versions by just removing it as an error code. Way to go MS. Don't fix a problem put a bandage on it instead.
So let them use their "influence" to try and take over. I won't be buying it. My 360 is the last MS product I will ever buy. If it wasn't for my PS3 then this would be the worst-gen of gaming I have ever seen. The 360 is a hardware crap-pile and the Wii is a software crap-pile and neither company seems to want to fix it. Now that Sony has their head out of their butts (let's hope there are no more crappy adverts or corporate egos) I like the way they are headed and I have found there is more than enough on the PS3 to keep me busy for a few years while my 360 and Wii collect dust.
Sorry for the long rant folks.

Well, I am not a big KH series fan, but I like it, so I hope the announcement is about KHIII
Probably will be multi like FFXIII, but that isn't something I really care about

its not fanboyism it something called delays and not a s good quality. We would have final afntasy know if it didnt go multi plat but it did know we are not able to get our hands on it until next year. the idea of making a multi plat game for an originla exclusive always ends up bad for the original exclusive sysytem.
its testuya normuma we are talking about so playstation owners you are in good hands
