Capcom has divulged via its twitter page that the second of the company’s mystery E3 titles will not be a successor to Devil May Cry 4.
The tweet teasers: “Hot rumor bust of the day: Capcom E3 Mystery Title #2 is not — repeat, NOT — Devil May Cry 5. Now, what do you think it is?” Meanwhile, website Cubed3 has compiled a list of hints gathered thus far, including the fact the game is not a remake and will form part of an already established franchise. See below for the full scoop:
-The game is NOT Devil May Cry 5
-It’s an action game
-It’s from an established Capcom franchise
-It’s not a remake
-It’s being developed by Capcom of Japan
After putting on our thinking caps, we’d be inclined to place our bets on a new Onimusha title, though we’d love to see Dino Crisis rear its scaly head again after all these years. Finally, while Resident Evil has unequivocally taken a more action-orientated path as of late, a new entry in the series seems unlikely at this point.
E3 kicks off next week, so keep your eyes peeled for more info as it breaks.

Thank GOD it isn't DMC5, I don't think I could stand seeing , unless it was like DMC3, that was awesome.
Please please please please PLEASE be a Dino Crisis game! It was my favourite childhood game and I was obssessed with it, and really wanna know what happened with Dylan and Regina. Actually, it being Dino Crisis makes sense, since it was basically Resident Evil with dinosaurs they'd use the same gameplay style as Resident Evil 4 and 5. Oh wait, I just thought, waht if its co op!? playing as Dylan and Regina would be a-maze-ing!
Wow, I've really got myself hyped up for this now, now I can't get the thought of a Dino Crisis 3 (A PROPER Dino Crisis 2 sequel, not a combination of clihes: Zombie-Dinosaurs in SPACE), can't wait til E3 now.

Could be a number of games from a new megaman (regular, X, Legends, Zero, Battle Network) to a more robust monster hunter compared to the wii version, onimusha, dino crisis, to few other capcom games. As for what it should be, I would love to see the monster hunter or mega man x, legends, zero on ps3 and doubt its dino crisis but never know.

Hopefully it's a sequel to Chao Legion. That game was kickass! Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be great.

I Hope it is either Section Z or Strider. I'm Tired of the melee button mash type games in the likes of Onimusha or DMC.

dmc4 was the best dmc. it actually had the difficulty of a normal game, and instead of being so hard they had to do a re-release.

I hope it'll be a PS3 Monster Hunter (since they decided to scratch out the orignaly intended MH3 for the PS3 and give it to the Wii...), but they probably consider that a rpg. So Lost Planet? Dino Crisis would be nice too, as long as they go back to the roots of the first and not make it a crapy shootem up game like DC2.
