FINALLY, I've been waiting for them to announce their follow up MMO. I loved FFXI, been waiting for this one more so then XIII.
PS3 exclusive kinda hit me tho. I liked playing on PS2 with PC and 360 users. It has to be a timed exclusive. It wouldn't make sense otherwise to be honest with you. Why would you want to limit the userbase for an MMO?

For those of you that don\'t know, some facts and thought\'s about FFXI that probably impact 14:
1) It had a 12.00 a month fee.
2) Though it was an MMO, it had the traditional FF cutscenes and story.
3) Here\'s the twist. The game had THE BEST ONLINE COMMUNITY/ FRIENDLY PLAYERS IN ANY MMO EVER. Sound good? Well, the reason was because the game was so insanely hard (even traveling from one place to another was dangerous many times), you always needed others at your side and "burning bridges" was (almost) always a bad idea. In fairness and openess, MANY FELT LIKE THIS GAME WAS A GRINDFEST. I saw it as challenge, but their points are valid.
4) For FFXI players, do I see a Galka in that trailer? Looks like a sequel to me...nice

lol at the " MANY FELT LIKE THIS GAME WAS A GRINDFEST" comment =D that was funny, considering this will be a MMO.
I was soooo happy when i heard it was a PS3 exclusive. People can say "oh it doesn't matter" but deep down, it's gotta make you a bit happy, especially if you only own 1 of the 2 hardcore gaming consoles. (wii doesn't really count as one >< sorry wii fans)
If you own both well.... guess it doesn't matter. but ANYWAYS back to the point, I'M SERIOUSLY HAPPY! lol!!!! TWO final fantasy games in 2010 tentatively? Plus final fantasy versus coming out sometime after?
good times... good times -

YEEESSSSS!!! that looks so promising, i really love the scale there. the creatures and landscapes in the game are real massive, and thats sweet.
i also hope there is no monthly fee.
